Gameplay Experience
Tekken 7 was my first Tekken game, and the experience started surprisingly well. The combat system felt unique, especially the four-button controls linked to each limb. As I progressed through the story, I slowly became more comfortable with the controls and even started learning a few combos.
The story was confusing at times, but the action scenes and character moments kept me interested. The gameplay felt rewarding whenever I improved and won difficult matches. However, the experience changed dramatically during the Akuma vs Heihachi fights in Chapter 8.
Despite playing on the easiest difficulty, the AI repeatedly spammed powerful attacks and combos that were extremely difficult to counter.
The sudden difficulty spike felt unfair and frustrating, especially after enjoying the game up to that point. While Tekken 7 has enjoyable gameplay and impressive presentation, casual players may find some sections unnecessarily difficult.
