Gameplay Experience
One of my favorite things about NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 3 Full Burst HD is the Drive Types and Awakening Types. They make every fight feel unique and give you more ways to play. I’ve spent a lot of time with this game and it’s still one of the most enjoyable Naruto fighters I’ve played.
I do think STORM 4 has smoother and more technical combat because of mechanics like jutsu cancels and dash cancels. It feels faster and gives skilled players more room to pull off advanced combos. But there’s something about STORM 3’s Awakening system that I keep coming back to.
Being able to activate an Awakening right in the middle of a combo never gets old. Whenever I play as Neji I love landing a combo triggering my Awakening at the perfect moment and continuing the pressure with even stronger attacks. Those moments feel incredibly satisfying and are a big reason why I still enjoy coming back to this game.
