Gameplay Experience

I’ve had BeamNG.drive in my Steam library for a long time and have played about 30 hours so far. Whenever I start the game, I usually drive around, try different vehicles, and crash into things. Sometimes I spawn AI vehicles and let them chase me, which is fun for a while, but I eventually get bored.

I’ve seen many players with hundreds or even thousands of hours in the game, so I’m curious what keeps them playing for so long. Is crashing vehicles over and over really that enjoyable, or is there something else I’m missing? It feels like there’s a lot more to the game, but I haven’t discovered it yet.

I’m not criticizing the game. I genuinely want to know how other players enjoy it and what activities make it fun for them.
