About This Game
The Tour de France 2026 is one of the biggest and most famous bicycle races in the world. This year marks the 113th edition of the legendary event, which will take place over three exciting weeks from July 4 to July 26, 2026. The Grand Départ, or the big start of the race, will happen in the beautiful coastal city of Barcelona, Spain. After a few days of racing through Spanish landscapes, the cyclists will cross the border into France to tackle the rest of the grueling journey toward the traditional finish line.
A total of 23 professional cycling teams will compete in the event, bringing together the very best athletes from all over the globe. The riders will have to survive flat and incredibly fast stages made for powerful sprinters, individual time trials where they race alone against the clock, and massive, steep mountain climbs in the Pyrenees and the Alps that test their ultimate strength and endurance.
The main goal for the top riders is to win the entire race and wear the iconic yellow jersey, known as the maillot jaune. However, there are other exciting competitions happening at the same time, such as the battle for the green jersey given to the best sprinter, and the polka-dot jersey awarded to the King of the Mountains. Organized by the Amaury Sport Organisation, the Tour de France 2026 promises to be filled with high-speed drama, beautiful scenery, and millions of passionate fans cheering along the roadsides.
