Gameplay Experience
I bought Cities: Skylines II during a sale after hearing about the latest patch, hoping the game had improved. As a big fan of Cities: Skylines, I was excited to finally give the sequel a try. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing.
The biggest issue was performance. Even after adjusting multiple graphics settings and following optimization guides, the game still ran poorly. Visuals often appeared blurry, and overall performance felt worse than expected.
Stability was another problem. The game crashed twice during my first few hours of play. One of those crashes caused me to lose a city that I had spent a lot of time building, which was frustrating and made it difficult to continue playing.
I also missed some of the popular mods that made the original game so enjoyable, especially tools like Move It! and TMPE. While there are mods available, the game still feels somewhat unstable, making me hesitant to install additional content. Overall, the city-building mechanics are promising, but technical issues significantly affected my enjoyment.
